The Gertrude Lee Photograph Collection consists of 113 black-and-white photographs taken in Alaska and the Yukon, showing the life of a trapper. On the back of each photograph is a description written by the photographer, including dates, places, and general information. The photographs depict dog sled and boat transportation, aircraft, firewood for steamboats, animals, indigenous persons, river steamers, and railroad cars and engines.
